Matthew was exposed to the bluegrass music business at an early age touring across the country with his family. At the age of sixteen he started a successful regional band and began to see the potential for success in the entertainment business. These experiences quickly led Matthew to realize the need for a more professional approach to the business side of bluegrass. He realized that there were talented groups and individuals everywhere who simply had no resources for recording albums, booking dates and promoting their music.

As his recording sessions became more frequent, Matthew’s list of contacts grew until he had established his engineering and production skills in the genre, ultimately leading to the Grammy nomination of one of his productions. At this point Matthew decided to combine his experience with the skills and knowledge of his close friends Caleb Joye and Kyle Burnett to develop a company that could provide these resources to musicians as well as small businesses.
